Aims and Objectives of Borderline UK

Borderline UK (BUK) was first established in 2000 and has remained committed to the same ethos ever since – first and foremost we are part of an organisation for people with personal experience of personality disorder run by people with personal experience of PD. Since then BUK has grown rapidly, broadening the scope of its work and developing well respected expertise as the leading personality disorder focused service user and carer organisation.

How Borderline UK Began

Sometime in 1998, a 28 year old Yorkshire lad by the name of Dale Ashman found himself washed up in West Cumbria with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder, too many books, a guitar and an assortment of stationery.
